Special Education Needs (SEN) Coordinator
About This Role
Cambridge International School (CIS) located in Bratislava, Slovakia, is looking to hire a SEN Coordinator to join our expanding, dedicated, and exceptional team of educators in a highly supportive and values-driven international environment. This role will involve collaborating with students aged 6 to 18 and leading the SEN department starting in the new academic year 2025/26, with a commencement date of 20th August 2025.

DESIRED CANDIDATE
- A UK or similarly qualified SEN Teacher with a recognized teaching qualification and managerial experience.
- Experience and preferably additional qualifications in supporting students with mild to moderate special needs.
- Background in assisting students either in the UK or in an English medium institution abroad.
- Required attributes include organizational skills, initiative, flexibility, independence, and a strong commitment to a child-centered educational approach, alongside a warm and friendly demeanor.
- Experience with administering diagnostic tools such as LUCID Rapid and Exact, as well as various diagnostic and standardized assessment tools.
- Familiarity with administering, interpreting, and making recommendations for student learning based on standardized assessments like INCAS, GL Progress Tests, CAT4, and ALIS.

Initial contracts will be for a fixed term of two years, with an option for one year by agreement, and the possibility of future renewal by mutual consent. Like most reputable schools, we implement a three-month probationary period, details of which will be clearly outlined in employment contracts.
