Requirements and Experience:

Essential:

  • Possess a bachelor’s degree relevant to the teaching subject or an equivalent qualification.
  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent certification.
  • Exhibit strong subject knowledge and a genuine enthusiasm for Physics that you are eager to share with students.
  • Have experience teaching GCSE and A Level courses.
  • A minimum of 3 years of teaching experience is required, although aspiring new teachers will be considered.
  • Capable of delivering consistently inspirational lessons with a proven record of outstanding results.
  • Demonstrate a highly collaborative nature and possess strong communication skills.
  • Show evidence of commitment to recent professional development pertinent to this role.
  • Bring ideas that will enhance the department's profile within the school.
  • Have ICT skills that reflect the role of technology in today’s classrooms.
  • Be committed to the extracurricular program.
  • Show a dedication to the well-being and pastoral care of all students in your charge.
  • Possess an innovative, creative, and positive outlook.

Desirable:

  • Experience working internationally or with students from diverse backgrounds.
