About the Programme:

The Vinschool Advanced (Cambridge) Programme is a comprehensive bilingual initiative that integrates teaching and learning across the Vinschool Education System, the Vietnamese national curriculum, and the Cambridge International Programmes.

What we need:

Vinschool is on the lookout for energetic, experienced, and professionally certified educators to become part of our international teaching team. The successful candidates will be responsible for teaching the Cambridge Science Programme at the Secondary school levels (grades 6-10), adhering to the appropriate Cambridge International Curriculum Framework. Applicants should possess the necessary qualifications and experience, demonstrating a strong commitment to supporting students in both academic and extracurricular activities.

Essential Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):

  • Provide high-quality subject-specific instruction in line with the Cambridge International Curriculum framework, with a teaching load of up to 20 hours weekly.
  • Develop curriculum, lesson plans, and instructional materials for classroom instruction and activities, and manage information on the Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Tailor teaching methods, learning strategies, and instructional resources to accommodate the diverse needs and interests of students.
  • Conduct assessments of student progress, monitor academic achievement, and offer constructive feedback.
  • Set classroom expectations, observe, and evaluate student performance, behavior, social development, and health.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, or guardians to discuss student progress and address any behavioral or academic concerns.
  • Create and execute remedial programs for students needing additional assistance.
  • Participate in faculty meetings, professional development opportunities, and school events.
  • Plan and engage in extracurricular activities such as clubs and academic competitions.
  • Carry out other professional duties as assigned by the Principal/Director.

Qualifications:

  • A degree in a relevant field.
  • A professional teaching qualification/license/certification as applicable.
  • Preference will be given to those with a Master’s degree.

Experience:

  • A minimum of 2 years of professional teaching experience (post-qualification) in a formal school setting.
  • Familiarity with the Cambridge International Curriculum is preferred but not mandatory.

Language Proficiency:

  • Must be a fluent English speaker (minimum C1 proficiency).

Soft Skills and Characteristics:

  • Strong skills in presentation, communication, problem-solving, and critical thinking.
  • Proficient in classroom management, time management, interpersonal relations, and teamwork.
  • Must be adaptable, patient, flexible, dedicated, and maintain a positive outlook.
