Requirements and Experience:

Essential:

  • Possess a bachelor’s degree relevant to the teaching subject or an equivalent qualification.
  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a comparable credential.
  • Exhibit strong subject knowledge and a genuine enthusiasm for sharing your passion with students.
  • Have experience teaching GCSE and A Level courses.
  • A minimum of 3 years of teaching experience is required, although new teachers aspiring to excel will be considered.
  • Demonstrate the ability to deliver consistently inspiring lessons with a proven track record of achieving outstanding results.
  • Possess a highly collaborative spirit and strong communication skills.
  • Show evidence of commitment to recent professional development pertinent to this role.
  • Bring ideas that will enhance the high profile of the department within the school.
  • Have ICT skills that reflect the integration of technology in modern classrooms.
  • Show commitment to the extra-curricular programme.
  • Display dedication to the well-being and pastoral care of all students under your supervision.
  • Possess an innovative, creative, and positive mindset.

Desirable:

  • Experience working overseas or with international students.
