About This Role
Founded in 2000, Doha Academy consists of three schools and offers an educational journey from KG to Year 13, based on both the British and Qatar national curriculum. The Academy’s mission is to nurture globally-minded, lifelong learners through a well-rounded educational framework that emphasizes local cultural values and traditions.

As we expand, we are looking to engage with qualified and experienced educators who consider teaching a vocation. Applicants must possess a Bachelor’s degree in their teaching discipline along with a recognized initial teacher training qualification. Early applications are encouraged.
The school is accredited by both Cambridge International and Pearson Edexcel, with all three sciences adhering to Pearson Edexcel courses at Key Stages 4 and 5. Our 2024 GCSE results highlighted outstanding achievements, especially in grades 7-9 across both sciences. We are equipped with modern laboratories and have laboratory assistants as part of our staff.
This role presents opportunities for leadership within the department, so candidates aspiring to become heads of department should indicate this in their application.
This is an exciting chance to be part of the Academy. In 2022, we achieved full Qatar National Schools’ Accreditation (QNSA) and received full international accreditation from the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC) in November 2022, embarking on our highest “ACE Learning” pathway.
Interviews will be held either in person in Doha or online for candidates located internationally.
