School Bus Driver

King’s Christian School (KCS), located in the scenic "Heart of the Shuswap" in Salmon Arm, B.C., is currently seeking applications for Part-Time and On-Call Bus Drivers.

Driving Record Requirements:
• Possession of a Class 2 BC Commercial License with air brake endorsement for Conventional Transit Operator
• OR a Class 4 unrestricted BC Commercial License for Community Shuttle Operator
• A maximum of one (1) traffic violation in the past three (3) years, with no more than three (3) points on that single violation, including non-moving violations
• No suspensions or prohibitions within the last five (5) years

Additional Qualifications/Requirements:
• Ability to obtain a Criminal Record Search, including a Vulnerable Sector Search
• Proficient in understanding, speaking, reading, and writing in English
• Capable of passing a Comprehensive Medical Examination
• Willingness to work split shifts (morning and afternoon) and availability for on-call field trips
• Must hold a valid First Aid Certificate (Level 1)
