Role Overview:
The Psychology Teacher will educate students from Years 5 to 13 and may also take on the role of a Form Tutor. The ideal candidate will be committed to maintaining the highest standards of student achievement. We seek an individual who can embody and promote the vision and ethos of King’s College Doha, inspiring both students and parents within the school community. Key Responsibilities:

Teaching and Learning:

• Cultivate a passion for Psychology, encouraging a strong work ethic and a culture of high expectations that empowers both staff and students to reach their potential.

• Design, prepare, and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons that accommodate diverse learning requirements.

• Collaborate in the development of the curriculum and schemes of work.

• Ensure that Psychology instruction aligns with curriculum development plans and standards related to Common Entrance.

• Provide additional support to students as necessary and set challenging learning objectives.

• Offer consistent feedback and motivate students to reflect on their learning and engage with it.

Pastoral and Wider School Life:

• Execute pastoral and supervisory responsibilities, including serving as a Form Tutor.

• Participate in assemblies, departmental meetings, parents’ evenings, school events, and other staff gatherings.

Person Specification:
