About This Role
Our school is currently seeking a parent governor. Governing boards serve as essential strategic decision-makers and visionaries in every educational institution, playing a crucial role in the overall accountability framework for schools. They are instrumental in enhancing both school and student performance while ensuring that resources are effectively utilized to provide every child with the highest quality education. We highly value parent governors as integral members of our team. We especially encourage nominations from parents or carers who possess any of the following qualities: experience in financial management, a commitment to ongoing education, familiarity with safeguarding procedures, and the availability to participate in school visits as a governor. To submit your nomination, please fill out the nomination form and return it to the school by 12pm on Tuesday, 10th March 2026. Alternatively, you may email your nomination as an attachment to hello@stcuthberts.com, ensuring that you include 'Parent Governor Nomination' in the subject line. Please note that nominations submitted after this deadline will not be considered.
