Male Bilingual School Counsellor (English & Arabic) – Aug 2026 British School

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Male Bilingual School Counsellor (English & Arabic) to become part of our team, starting in August 2026. This position provides a rewarding opportunity for a compassionate professional focused on enhancing student wellbeing and creating a positive, inclusive educational environment.

The ideal candidate will:

• Hold a relevant degree in Counselling, Psychology, or a similar field, along with any necessary professional accreditation
• Be fluent in both spoken and written English and Arabic
• Have significant experience working with children and adolescents within a school setting
• Demonstrate a thorough understanding of safeguarding and child protection in line with KCSIE (Keeping Children Safe in Education) and BSO standards, including early identification, reporting protocols, and collaboration with various agencies
• Be capable of delivering exceptional emotional, behavioral, and social support, which includes conducting risk assessments and developing intervention strategies
• Work collaboratively with the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL), fellow staff, parents, and external organizations to promote student wellbeing
• Maintain accurate, confidential, and secure records in accordance with data protection and safeguarding legislation
• Uphold the highest standards of professional conduct, ensuring appropriate boundaries and a child-centered approach at all times
