We at GEMS International School, Al Khail are currently inviting applications from experienced Individuals & Societies Teachers, with positions available starting August 2026.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement engaging, inquiry-driven lessons that spark curiosity, critical thinking, and a passion for learning.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages individual strengths and diverse learning styles.
- Adapt teaching strategies to cater to the varied needs of all students, including English as an Additional Language (EAL) learners, gifted students, and those needing extra support.
- Utilize technology and innovative methods to enrich student learning and engagement.
- Assess, document, and communicate student progress effectively, using data to guide teaching and personalized assistance.
- Collaborate with colleagues in the development and enhancement of IB-aligned curriculum plans, resources, and assessments.
- Contribute to the broader life of the school through co-curricular activities, events, and community initiatives.
- Establish strong relationships with parents and the wider school community to promote student growth and well-being.
- Engage in continual professional development and reflection to consistently improve teaching practices.
- Uphold the GEMS values and the IB Learner Profile in every aspect of school life.
