Position Overview:
We are looking for a committed and enthusiastic SEN Teacher to become part of our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in fostering an inclusive educational atmosphere, aiding students with special educational needs (SEN) in realizing their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with classroom educators to develop and apply inclusive strategies that cater to the varied learning requirements of students with SEN.
- Deliver tailored instruction and assistance to individual students or small groups, nurturing an inclusive and supportive educational environment.
- Perform assessments to identify students with SEN and create individualized education plans (IEPs) in partnership with the SEN team and parents.
- Engage closely with parents, teachers, and external specialists to build a collaborative support system for students with SEN.
- Implement research-based interventions and accommodations to meet diverse learning needs.
- Remain informed about best practices, research developments, and innovations in the realm of special education and inclusion.
- Cultivate a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that honors diversity and fosters a sense of belonging for every student.
