About This Role

Opening in September 2021, NAS Suzhou aims to deliver a cutting-edge, world-class educational environment with a total capacity for 1,728 students and approximately 664 boarding spaces for those aged 6-18. This school will provide a distinctive blended learning experience, combining the finest aspects of Eastern and Western educational resources and philosophies. Location: No.8 Liujue Road, Xiangcheng District, Suzhou

We are seeking an International Humanities Teacher to become part of our NAS Suzhou school, which is affiliated with Nord Anglia Education.

You will be expected to set high expectations for our students, crafting learning activities that align with our school’s curriculum and fostering a learning culture where students can achieve their utmost potential. Your role will involve creating a respectful classroom environment that encourages learning through inquiry and discussion.

You should be adept at adapting to our dynamic international setting and possess a university degree along with a recognized teaching qualification and relevant teaching experience. Your commitment and creativity will be evident as you reflect on your teaching practices and student outcomes, actively pursuing and implementing new ideas and innovative approaches to enhance the school’s performance.

Eager to collaborate and share your specialized knowledge, you will serve as a strong ambassador for the school. Your ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences will help you build solid relationships with both parents and students. Additionally, you must meet the visa-related requirements for China, which include at least two years of relevant teaching experience and a notarized bachelor’s degree.
