Head of Mathematics (IB Experience Required)

We are seeking a driven and experienced leader to head our Mathematics Department. The ideal candidate will provide strategic leadership across the IB Diploma Programme (DP) and Middle Years Programme (MYP), delivering high-quality teaching and exceptional student achievement.

The Head of Mathematics will mentor and support Mathematics teachers, drive continuous improvements, and foster excellence in teaching and learning to guarantee strong academic results.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven experience in teaching within the IB DP and MYP frameworks
  • Successful leadership experience within a Mathematics department
  • Familiarity with ADEK and IB inspection processes
  • A thorough understanding of school evaluation frameworks, with a track record of enhancing performance and inspection outcomes
  • A commitment to achieving and sustaining the highest educational standards

Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree in education or a degree with PGCE/PGDE or QTS (or an equivalent teaching qualification) in the relevant subject area

Compensation

£30,000 - £45,000+ (Regional Equivalent)
