About You:
We are looking for a remarkable and inspiring Head of Faculty - Mathematics Faculty to lead our department and foster excellence at all key stages. This position encompasses both teaching and middle leadership responsibilities, with the ideal candidate expected to maintain an active teaching load, delivering A Level Mathematics to a high standard.
We seek candidates who embody the following attributes:
- A dynamic, enthusiastic, and well-qualified individual, with at least a B.Ed. or a B.A. with a PGCE in Mathematics and QTS.
- A proven track record of exceptional teaching and learning, particularly in delivering A Level Mathematics and achieving strong student results.
- The capability to balance strategic leadership with an active teaching schedule, showcasing exemplary classroom practice.
- The ability to provide clear strategic direction for the mathematics faculty, promoting high-quality teaching, learning, and achievement across all phases.
- A leader who can mentor and develop a team of mathematics teachers, nurturing a collaborative, high-performing, and accountable culture.
- A proponent of continuous improvement, encouraging innovative practices and professional development.
