About This Role

Purpose
The Executive Assistant directly supports the CFO by delivering high-level administrative assistance, including the management of intricate calendars, travel arrangements, and confidential data. Primary duties involve serving as a strategic gatekeeper, organizing board meetings, preparing reports, managing stakeholder correspondence, and aiding the broader finance leadership team.

Key Accountabilities
General
Provide daily organizational and personal administrative assistance to the CFO.
Support the CFO by tracking and completing departmental work plans, addressing inquiries, issuing memos, and following up on their behalf.
Effectively prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
Assist other members of the Senior Management Committee (SMC) as needed or directed.

Communication
Prioritize emails and prepare letters, presentations, and reports, ensuring clear, confident, and professional communication at all levels, both internally and externally, while producing all correspondence and relevant materials punctually and accurately.
Follow up on requests and emails when necessary.
Welcome visitors warmly and professionally, maintaining a positive and cheerful demeanor as a brand ambassador for GEMS Education.
Answer phone calls in a friendly, helpful, and professional manner, promptly directing incoming calls to the appropriate party, accurately recording messages, and ensuring timely delivery to the intended recipient.

Diary Management
Recognize the significance of key meetings, incorporating flexibility into the diary while anticipating needs, arranging meetings, and preparing briefing materials as required.
Collaborate with the CFO to manage the calendar and scheduling (including board meetings, conferences, and regional office visits) and coordinate the CFO's global and domestic travel itineraries.
Maintain a personable approach while handling extensive communications and calendar scheduling, interacting with internal and external executives, assistants, consultants, clients, co-workers, and the public to organize various complex meetings.
Ensure that the CFO is made aware of key dates and events in advance.

Compensation

£35,000 - £55,000 (Tax-Free Equivalent)
