About This Role

We are looking for a passionate and qualified full-time Early Years Educator to become part of our vibrant educational community in Düsseldorf, Germany, starting from August 2026.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and delivering captivating lessons that engage children's curiosity and cultivate a lifelong passion for learning. This role not only involves supporting academic growth but also aims to nurture skills in grace and courtesy that will aid their journey through education.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Develop lesson plans and daily schedules.
  • Adhere to the instructional program established by ISR, collaborating with colleagues on a daily and weekly basis.
  • Incorporate a diverse array of activities and teaching methods (including songs, stories, multimedia, structured games, arts, and outdoor experiences) to inspire and stimulate each child's learning.
  • Assess children’s development, recognizing their strengths and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Oversee the Learning Environment.
  • Design and organize the learning space at the start of the academic year.
  • Facilitate the learning of a group of approximately 20 children.
  • Foster a positive and engaging learning atmosphere, building strong relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
  • Actively engage in implementing school policies, particularly focusing on safeguarding and ensuring equal opportunities for all students.

Qualifications:

  • A degree in Early Childhood Education or a primary education teaching degree.
  • Previous experience in schools or educational kindergartens is preferred.
  • Proficient in both spoken and written English.
  • A strong passion for early childhood development and children's well-being.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in Early Childhood Education.
  • Culturally aware and sensitive to the diverse backgrounds of families and colleagues.
  • High level of confidentiality.
  • Ability to use and integrate technology in the educational setting (PC, Interactive Whiteboard, Tablet, Apps, etc.).

About ISR International Kindergarten:

Our international, English-speaking ISR Kindergarten in Düsseldorf Niederkassel welcomes boys and girls starting from age three. Within our contemporary facility, children are organized into different age groups as they prepare for primary school, experiencing a rich environment marked by cultural diversity, exceptional kindergarten education, and individualized, loving support.

English instruction is delivered exclusively by native speakers, complemented by German lessons, which are a mandatory aspect of our students’ education, ensuring their immersion in a multilingual setting. Together with early exposure to numbers and letters, students at ISR Kindergarten are thoroughly prepared for primary school.
