Cover Manager

We are seeking to appoint a Cover Manager to join our school support staff. The successful candidate will be very well organised, detail-oriented, and have the ability to work well as part of a team to ensure operational continuity and high quality education.

Reporting to the Assistant Headteacher, the Cover Manager is responsible for the strategic planning, coordination, and daily allocation of cover for absent teaching and support staff. In addition to administrative duties, the post-holder will act as a Learning Supervisor to deliver pre-prepared lessons, facilitate student learning, and maintain high standards of classroom behaviour management across various subjects.

There is scope for ongoing professional development within this role to reflect personal aspirations and skills.
