About This Role
FTE: Full-time
Term of Employment: Continuing - Commencing August 27, 2026
Salary and Benefits: In line with the provincial salary grid (www.stf.sk.ca) along with a benefits package that features subsidized, furnished housing and a Northern living allowance. Relocation assistance may also be provided.
Qualifications:
- Saskatchewan Professional A Teacher’s Certificate (or confirmation of eligibility)
- Knowledge and experience in implementing best practices in instruction, curriculum, environment, and assessment
- Understanding of First Nations, Métis, and Inuit languages, histories, and cultures
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively within a team and work independently
Preferred Candidate will possess:
- Awareness and experience with Northern issues
- At least five years of successful teaching experience
- A minimum of five years of successful administrative experience at the elementary, middle, and secondary education levels
- Graduate-level education in school administration
- Strong skills in instructional leadership, organization, interpersonal communication, and overall communication
- A dedicated commitment to the schools plus/community schools and the concept of safe schools
