About This Role

Institut auf dem Rosenberg is on the lookout for passionate and dedicated boarding professionals to become part of our residential team as Boarding House Tutors (Artisans). The chosen candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing the pastoral life of the school while creating a supportive and well-organized boarding atmosphere for our diverse international student community.

We warmly welcome candidates who can lead or assist in sports, outdoor activities, or co-curricular programs. Applicants who can contribute to sports, outdoor education, or creative and specialized activities will be particularly favored.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience

  • A relevant qualification in teaching, pastoral care, or youth work (or equivalent experience)
  • Experience working with youth in a boarding, educational, or residential environment
  • A background in providing pastoral care and support for student wellbeing
  • Capability to engage in sports, activities, or co-curricular programs
  • A valid driving license and willingness to undertake driving responsibilities
  • A strong commitment to the values and mission of Institut auf dem Rosenberg

Key Responsibilities

  • Aid in the pastoral care and wellbeing of boarding students within the residential community.
  • Help maintain a structured, supportive, and respectful boarding environment that promotes student independence and personal development.
  • Provide academic supervision and organized study assistance during evening study sessions.
  • Participate in the planning and execution of sports, recreational, and co-curricular activities.
  • Support the daily operations and routines of the boarding house, ensuring exceptional care and focus on student wellbeing.
  • Collaborate with boarding leadership, academic staff, and pastoral teams to foster student development.
  • Take on driving responsibilities and oversee student transportation as necessary.
