Exciting opportunities are on the horizon at NORD ANGLIA INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL, HONG KONG. We are expanding our Secondary division with the introduction of a state-of-the-art Sixth Form Centre (August 2026) that will offer IBDP, A-Levels, and BTEC programs.

We seek passionate Secondary Teachers for Key Stages 3, 4, and 5 who can inspire student-led learning and create a lasting impact.

We are especially eager to welcome an ART TEACHER to join our Secondary team, focused on enriching teaching and learning in the Art field.

The role:

As a qualified Teacher of Art, your duties will encompass:

  • Leading initiatives to boost student participation and nurture school spirit.
  • Supporting enrichment activities and coordinating school events.
  • Enhancing parental involvement through effective communication and progress updates.
  • Delivering engaging, inclusive, and impactful lessons.
  • Fostering creativity, problem-solving, and design thinking.
  • Applying data-driven strategies to meet diverse learning needs.
  • Utilizing digital tools to enrich learning experiences.
  • Acting as a Form Tutor and contributing to the IB curriculum.
  • Designing and implementing lesson plans aligned with the curriculum.
  • Ensuring rigorous assessments and providing timely feedback.
  • Participating in curriculum innovation and quality assurance efforts.
  • Engaging in continuous professional development.
  • Reflecting on practices to improve teaching effectiveness.
  • Upholding the school’s values and contributing to a positive school culture.

The Successful Candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Education or a relevant degree with a PGCE in a related Art subject.
  • Qualified Teacher Status.
  • Experience teaching in a UK and/or international context.
  • Art training or an equivalent qualification.
  • A minimum of 2 years of teaching experience.
  • Insight into students' learning and development as it relates to Art practice.
  • Awareness of current trends in Art education.
  • Proven ability to raise standards for all student groups.
  • Skills in planning, delivering, monitoring, and evaluating lessons within the school curriculum.
  • Familiarity with the English National Curriculum and relevant subject knowledge.
  • Understanding of assessment and reporting protocols.
  • Knowledge of IGCSE, A Level, and IB syllabi and their associated examination processes.
  • Ability to incorporate technology into the classroom to enhance and broaden student learning.
  • A current Enhanced Criminal Records Bureau Disclosure for all countries of residence.
  • Compliance with visa regulations for employment.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all students, along with a willingness to undertake relevant child protection training as needed.
