About This Role

The Strothoff International School is a bilingual establishment dedicated to providing an international education. Position Available

Starting in August 2026, we are on the lookout for an Art Teacher (all genders) (part-time or full-time) for our secondary school located in Dreieich (near Frankfurt).

Your Responsibilities

  • Preparation, follow-up, and organizational and pedagogical planning of lessons in accordance with our established curriculum.
  • Designing creative and varied lessons that engage students and enhance their core skills and subject knowledge.
  • Utilizing digital media to enrich the teaching experience.
  • Planning, executing, and managing a range of class projects.
  • Participating in the generation of new ideas and the improvement of processes.

Your Profile

  • A qualified secondary educator holding a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (or equivalent) in a relevant subject area along with a teaching certification.
  • Prior teaching experience is required.
  • Fluent in English and possessing a B2 level in German, or a willingness to achieve B2 proficiency within two years.
  • A strong alignment with our pedagogical philosophy and a dedication to keeping up with the latest advancements in educational theory for implementation in teaching.
  • An eagerness to adopt new technologies to enhance learning and to implement innovative teaching strategies.
