Aldar Education is currently on the lookout for an exceptional Teacher - Primary to join Noya British School in Abu Dhabi.

Key Responsibilities


- Organizing classroom resources and displays to foster a positive and stimulating learning environment.

- Planning, preparing, and delivering lessons that address the diverse needs of all students in the class.

- Observing and evaluating students in accordance with school assessment standards.

- Reflecting on classroom practices, lesson delivery, student progress, and making necessary adjustments to the environment, planning, and curriculum.

- Ensuring that the Noya British School Teacher and Learner DNA values and attitudes are integrated throughout the curriculum.

- Taking ownership of the academic progress of the class.

- Serving as a positive role model, consistently exhibiting the attitudes, values, and behaviors expected of students.

- Maintaining high behavioral expectations, encouraging self-discipline and independence among all learners.

- Performing duties as assigned within the school's policy framework.

- Collaborating within a curriculum action group, assisting with planning, assessment, resources, and events associated with the team.

- Supporting and participating in school events, outings, and activities, which may occur during weekends or evenings.

- Effectively communicating with parents/carers regarding student achievements and well-being, utilizing school systems/processes such as CPOMS as required.

Minimum Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant subject along with a PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.

Minimum Experience:

- A minimum of 1-2 years of teaching experience.

Specific Knowledge & Skills Required:

- Experience working with students for whom English is a second language.

- Active and consistent participation in extracurricular activities.

- Respect for all members of the school community, regardless of their role, gender, age, or cultural background.

- A proactive and solution-oriented approach to professional life.

- A clean enhanced Disclosure and Barring Services check or police clearance.
