What distinguishes BEYC is our small class sizes and excellent adult-to-child ratios. Each class, capped at 16 children, is supported by one teacher and up to three Learning Assistants, achieving an outstanding 1:4 ratio. Our highly qualified Learning Assistants, many of whom have been part of BEYC for several years, contribute to a stable and cohesive classroom experience.
In September 2025, BEYC opened its brand-new, purpose-built campus adjacent to our original location. This facility has been thoughtfully crafted to align with our Reggio Emilia and EYFS methodologies, featuring inspiring indoor and outdoor areas that embody our dedication to play, nature, and discovery.
The Ideal Candidate
Are you a seasoned Early Years teacher eager to motivate young minds? We seek an individual who reflects our values and is ready to infuse their experience and enthusiasm into our team, starting immediately.
The ideal candidate will possess:
• A Bachelor’s degree in Early Years or Primary Education, a PGCE in Primary or Early Years, or a comparable qualification.
• Experience teaching in Early Years settings, either in the UK or internationally.
• A solid understanding of the EYFS curriculum and familiarity with the Reggio Emilia philosophy.
• A commitment to child-led, play-based, and outdoor learning.
• Strong collaboration skills with the capability to lead a classroom team of up to three Learning Assistants.
• An initiative to continuously improve learning environments.
• A wealth of enthusiasm, energy, and a sincere passion for Early Years education.
• A good sense of humor and a readiness to innovate.
