Role Introduction

We are seeking a highly qualified educator to instruct Secondary Art, covering lower secondary (Year 7) through GCSE (Year 11) at our school located in Koh Samui. This is a distinctive opportunity to enhance your teaching expertise in one of Thailand's most renowned islands while engaging in a unique, results-oriented educational approach.

Main Duties

• Contribute extensively to the school community through enrichment activities, developing effective teaching strategies and curriculum, implementing interventions for individuals or groups, managing internal assessments, or participating in outreach initiatives;

• Instruct students across varying ages and abilities, providing challenges for advanced learners and support for those who may find the subject difficult;

• Actively pursue your own professional growth and development in collaboration with our leadership team;

• Adhere to the school’s policies regarding assessment and reporting, follow the teacher’s manual, and attend parents’ meetings as necessary;

• Engage in the co-curricular life of the school as coordinated with our leadership team;

• Demonstrate commitment to safeguarding all young individuals;

• Tutor groups of students of varying sizes, showing genuine interest in their well-being and academic achievements;

• Regularly assist with various initiatives, such as educational development or pastoral care, to support the school community and build relationships with students.

The Ideal Candidate

You will be a thoughtful and reflective educator who:

• Holds a good honours degree (2:1 or above) and/or a further degree in a relevant subject;

• Is passionate about their subject and can exhibit the necessary subject knowledge to deliver engaging lessons across a diverse age and ability spectrum at Panyadee (PBISS);

• Shares Panyadee's holistic educational vision and is eager to contribute to both co-curricular and pastoral elements of school life;

• Possesses strong interpersonal skills and the ability to foster relationships and collaborate with a diverse group of individuals;
