What we seek:
- A PGCE or an equivalent full teaching qualification along with a degree in Business.
- Preferably, experience teaching within the UK educational framework.
- A creative and innovative mindset for engaging students in their learning journey.
- A genuine enthusiasm for delivering iGCSE and A Level qualifications.
Please note: Candidates without a full teaching qualification and relevant degree will not be considered.
What we provide:
- An opportunity to join a high-performing and supportive Humanities department known for its strong success rate.
- In addition to academics, our school is proud to offer a diverse co-curricular program. As a member of our team, you’ll have the opportunity to participate in the wider life of the school, from clubs and activities to school events.
Why Choose Us?
- Work in a nurturing environment that values excellence and innovation in teaching.
- Join a community that emphasizes student engagement and holistic growth.
- Access professional development opportunities, including pathways to leadership roles.
- Coaching: Our instructional coaching program is designed to provide our teachers with non-evaluative support to foster professional growth. All new teachers are encouraged to collaborate closely with our instructional coach during their first year, ensuring a smooth transition, ongoing support, and a successful start at the school.
We are deeply committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, and we expect all staff and volunteers to align with this commitment. Candidates must demonstrate their suitability to work with children and a strong dedication to safeguarding, which includes ongoing participation in safeguarding training.
All applicants will undergo thorough and standardized safeguarding checks, which entail:
- Three professional references, confirmed by telephone. For teaching positions, at least two references must come from Head Teachers within the last six years, including the most recent school. Referees may be contacted before the interview.
- Verification of identity and qualifications.
- Enhanced criminal background checks, along with police clearances from every country where the applicant has resided for more than six months in the past decade.
- A comprehensive review of employment history, with any gaps needing to be clearly explained and discussed during the interview.
