About This Role

Reimagining, reinventing, and redesigning education, Sherborne School Jeddah represents a groundbreaking initiative that commenced in September 2025. In collaboration with the esteemed Sherborne School in the UK, which has a rich history dating back to 1550, this new institution delivers an exceptional British education within state-of-the-art facilities.

This is an excellent opportunity for an exceptional UK qualified teacher to join our Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) team (QTS or PGCE). At Sherborne School Jeddah, we believe that innovation and creativity are innate to every individual. We aim to foster an environment where children can explore the unknown with curiosity rather than fear. Our goal is to create a joyful learning experience that captivates our students' imaginations and interests. We encourage our educators to adopt new strategies, engage in innovative projects, and utilize cutting-edge technologies, shifting the focus from ‘what is’ to ‘what could be’.

For centuries, Sherborne has been instrumental in developing young minds, producing generations of leaders, thinkers, and innovators. Notable alumni, including Sir Walter Raleigh and Alan Turing, have made significant contributions to our world. Building on Sherborne's legacy of educational excellence, we are dedicated to offering an ambitious and transformative learning experience that emphasizes the skills and adaptability necessary for success in a technology-driven world.

Sherborne School is in search of an inspiring, enthusiastic, and dedicated UK qualified (QTS or PGCE) Early Years class teacher. The successful candidate will be integral to the growth of this exciting endeavor within our modern, purpose-built campus, which sets a new benchmark for educational excellence.

Benefits for the successful applicant include:

  • A highly competitive salary based on the enhanced Sherborne pay scale
  • Accommodation
  • Private health insurance
  • Annual flights
  • A favorable work/life balance
  • A spacious, modern, and innovative teaching and learning environment
  • A supportive community with access to professional development training

The school has been designed to the highest standards to foster creativity, innovation, and collaboration. Each area reflects our commitment to developing well-rounded, confident, and future-ready students. Learners benefit from flexible learning spaces, maker areas for innovation, technology and creative arts, a well-being hub focused on mental and emotional health, an AI Think-Lab to enhance academic experiences, where discussions on ethics and stewardship take place alongside the exploration of new technologies to address real-life challenges, a 400-seat auditorium, fully equipped music and drama facilities, including an orchestral rehearsal room, recording studios, performance spaces, individual practice rooms, a dance studio, and a black-box theatre, as well as two multipurpose sports halls, an indoor swimming pool, an all-weather football pitch, a fitness studio, a martial arts dojo, and courts for tennis and basketball.

Candidates must possess a QTS or PGCE UK teaching qualification.
